The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina withdraws the 5 Convertible Marks banknote from circulation. Commercial banks are required to exchange these notes from April 1, 2009, to March 31, 2010, while the Central Bank accepts them until April 10, 2010. Holders may continue to use the notes for payments until December 31, 2009, after which they cease to be legal tender on January 1, 2010. This decision entered into force upon publication in the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
