Decision Repealing Certain Enabling Regulations Concerning the National Payment System

The Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro has repealed three existing enabling regulations governing the national payment system. The rescinded rules previously established procedures for issuing remote access payment instruments, defined licensing and approval conditions for payment systems, and outlined operational supervision frameworks. These repeals take effect upon publication in the Official Gazette of Montenegro and apply from 9 January 2015 to align with the updated Payment System Law.
