Deferral of Certain Financial Disclosure Expectations Under the Climate Risk Management Guideline
The Autorité des marchés financiers indefinitely defers the requirement for authorized financial institutions to disclose financed emissions related to off-balance sheet assets under management, originally scheduled for implementation in 2029. This relief allows institutions additional time to strengthen data collection and measurement while continuing to quantify and manage climate-related transition risks. The deferral is effective immediately upon publication and remains in place until the regulator modifies its terms.
