Financial institutions must report changes to New Taiwan dollar deposit interest rates, base lending rates, and other pricing benchmarks to the Central Bank of the Republic of China (Taiwan) before the changes take effect. Institutions linked to the Bank's Computer Communication's Service System must submit reports online, while unlinked institutions must use a specified table submitted via telephone facsimile. Credit cooperatives and credit departments of Farmers’ or Fishermen's associations must first report to the Taiwan Cooperative Bank or the Agricultural Bank of Taiwan, which then compile and submit the reports. Electronic filing is permitted from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
