The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka issued a directive requiring all Unit Trust Managing Companies to maintain a minimum of five unit holders for each fund at all times. Existing funds launched prior to this directive are granted a six-month grace period to achieve compliance with the new threshold. The Commission reserves the right to revisit these restrictions as necessary.
