DOC-2017-02 Persons Subject to Market Surveys

The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) issued Position DOC-2017-02 to clarify the scope of persons subject to market surveys under the Market Abuse Regulation. This doctrine specifies which individuals and entities are covered by the regulatory framework governing market soundings. The guidance is applicable as of February 1, 2017, and references Article 11 of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014.
