Regarding the operation of banking activities amidst government-imposed restrictions to prevent the spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19). Dear Sir, To prevent the spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19), Bangladesh Bank issued certain instructions regarding the operation of banking activities until 06 February 2022 through DOS Circular Letter No. 04 dated 24 January 2022. In light of the Cabinet Division's Memo No: 04.00.0000.514.16.001.21.143 dated 03 February 2022, and considering the outbreak of the new variant Omicron of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) and the current situation of the disease in Bangladesh, the timeframe for all instructions provided by Bangladesh Bank in DOS Circular Letter No. 04 dated 24 January 2022 for conducting banking activities has been extended from 07 February 2022 to 21 February 2022.
