DOS Circular Letter No. 27: Announcement of holiday for the occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH)

The Department of Off-Site Supervision of the Bangladesh Bank has rescheduled the public holiday for Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) from Friday, December 1, 2017, to Saturday, December 2, 2017. This change follows a decision by the National Moon Sighting Committee of the Islamic Foundation. All scheduled banks operating in Bangladesh are directed to observe the revised holiday date.
