Draft Investment Funds (Fees) Rules, 2026
The draft Investment Funds (Fees) Rules, 2026 prescribe fees payable to the Securities Commission of The Bahamas by investment funds and other persons regulated under the Investment Funds Act, 2019. These rules replace the Investment Funds (Fees) Rules, 2024 and generally increase certain fees for regulated persons while introducing an administrative fee for extensions to file audited financial statements by investment fund administrators. The rules specify application, annual, initial licensing, and administrative fees for various fund categories and administrators, with an effective date of 1 January, 2027.
