EIOPA Guidelines on Outsourcing to Cloud Service Providers
The DNB applies EIOPA Guidelines on outsourcing to cloud service providers to supplement its Good Practice for Outsourcing by Insurers. Insurers must update policies and internal processes by 1 January 2021 and implement documentation requirements for critical or important cloud outsourcing agreements by 31 December 2022. Existing cloud outsourcing agreements related to critical or important operational functions must be reviewed and amended to ensure compliance by 31 December 2022.
