Rule · SAMA · 2 Feb 2020
Banks operating in the Kingdom must enable bankruptcy trustees to access debtor account information and manage funds during reorganization or liquidation. They must verify trustee powers, comply with Rule No. (300-1-7) to avoid freezing liquidation accounts, and suspend claims upon receiving official suspension orders. Compliance is mandatory from the date of the circular, regardless of prior freeze notices.
