Endorsement Form for Pilot Project on Mobile Application-Based Passenger Transportation Services
The Autorité des marchés financiers has issued an endorsement form establishing specific insurance conditions and restrictions for partner-drivers providing remunerated passenger transportation exclusively through the Coop de solidarité Eva mobile application. The form mandates a minimum $1 million coverage limit under Section A for the entire connection-to-disconnection period, while integrating Protection 2 and Protection 3 from the driver’s personal policy based on their existing deductibles and endorsements. It modifies standard exclusions to permit taxi-like vehicle use, requires insurers to obtain connection logs from the cooperative for claims processing, and reserves the Authority’s right to adjust or add conditions as needed.
