ESMA Guidelines on the reporting to competent authorities under Article 37 of the MMF Regulation

Managers of money market funds must submit reports to competent authorities using a standardized template, with the first quarterly report due no later than 30 days after the end of Q1 2020 and the first annual report due 30 days after the end of Q4 2020. Reporting must cover the period from the fund's authorization date, requiring data only from 1 January 2020 onwards with no retroactive historical data required. The CSSF implements these ESMA guidelines into Luxembourg regulation, clarifying technical aspects such as the grouping of template fields into six blocks and the use of ECB exchange rates.
