Extension of Timeline for Implementation of SEBI Circular on Safer Participation of Retail Investors in Algorithmic Trading
The effective date for the circular on safer participation of retail investors in algorithmic trading is extended from August 01, 2025, to October 01, 2025. Stock Exchanges are directed to notify their members and participants of these provisions, disseminate the information on their websites, and implement appropriate systems and procedures to ensure compliance. Additionally, Stock Exchanges must amend their relevant Bye-laws, Rules, and Regulations to align with this decision.
