FEPD Circular No. 37: Discount claims against export trade
Applications for discount claims against the export of garment accessories are now considered within the purview of readymade garments under the Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Transactions-2018. Authorized Dealers may submit applications for discount claims against exports of leathergoods to the Discount Committee through the Foreign Exchange Policy Department at Bangladesh Bank, head office, in compliance with usual formalities and procedures. The Leathergoods and Footwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association of Bangladesh is co-opted as a member of the committee.
