FEPD Circular No. 37: Import and Export of Currency Notes
The Bangladesh Bank raises the per-person limit for carrying Bangladeshi currency when entering or leaving the country from BDT 5,000 to BDT 10,000. This amendment modifies the notification issued on January 30, 2014, and updates the corresponding guidelines in the Guidelines for Foreign Exchange Transactions, 2009. The change applies to all authorized dealer banks involved in foreign exchange transactions.
