Final: 2701 Operating Regulation
The State Bank Commissioner adopts amended Regulations 2101, 2201, 2701, and 2901 to conform with House Bill 286, which amended Title 5 of the Delaware Code by deleting statutory requirements for the display of licenses. Specifically, Regulation 2101 deletes Section 3.0, Regulation 2201 deletes Section 3.1 and the words "License and" in Section 3.0, Regulation 2701 deletes Section 2.1 and the words "License and" in Section 2.0, and Regulation 2901 deletes Section 3.0. These amendments eliminate the regulatory obligations for mortgage loan brokers, licensed lenders, check cashers, and motor vehicle financiers to prominently display their licenses. The effective date for these adopted regulations is October 13, 2016.
