Final Order — Consumer Collection Agency
The Florida Office of Financial Regulation issued a Final Order against Global Recovery Solutions LLC and Robert Castro for violating consumer collection laws. The Respondents consented to findings that they failed to maintain proper record destruction policies, retain written agreements, and kept required documentation, while also contacting debtors during prohibited hours. As part of the settlement, the Respondents agreed to pay a $15,000 administrative fine and cease all future violations of Chapter 559, Florida Statutes.
