Final Order — Money Services Business
The Florida Office of Financial Regulation issued a Final Order approving a Stipulation and Consent Agreement with ME Investment Group Corp d/b/a Mundi Envios LW and its principals, Mario Pachon and Maria Guantiva. The Respondents consented to findings that they violated Florida money services business laws by failing to report name changes, improperly cashing checks, and neglecting record-keeping and customer identification requirements. As part of the settlement, the Respondents agreed to pay a $7,000 administrative fine and cease future violations of Chapter 560, Florida Statutes.
