The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) issued a final report containing draft regulatory and implementing technical standards to standardize cooperation between competent authorities, ESAs, and third countries under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). These standards specify the information to be exchanged, establish standard forms and procedures for inter-authority and ESA communication, and provide a template for cooperation arrangements with third-country supervisory authorities. ESMA will submit these drafts to the European Commission for adoption, having consulted the Securities and Markets Stakeholder Group without significant objections.
