FM.S.3.2 – Annual Report of Self-Regulatory Organizations
The Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority issued Standard FM.S.3.2 to mandate annual reporting for registered exchanges and central securities depositories under the Financial Institutions and Markets Act, 2021. Self-regulatory organizations must submit a signed report within ninety days of their financial year end, detailing board and executive changes, auditor findings, market activity summaries, governance initiatives, risk management, and entity-specific operational metrics. The standard requires these entities to establish compliance policies, designate an authorized signatory, and place full responsibility for the report’s accuracy on their board.
