The Financial Conduct Authority has decided not to exclude regulated activities relating to Long-Term Asset Funds from Financial Services Compensation Scheme coverage. This decision follows a consultation that received 17 responses, with the majority expressing concern about removing protection in isolation of wider reforms. The regulator will instead consider changes to FSCS scope for retail investments as part of a holistic review rather than singling out specific products.
