The Financial Services Commission (FSC) Vice Chairman Kim Soyoung visited Germany and Lithuania to strengthen financial cooperation and support the overseas expansion of Korean financial institutions. During the trip, the FSC finalized a draft memorandum of understanding with the European Central Bank to enhance banking supervision and signed a separate MOU with the Bank of Lithuania to facilitate fintech business exchange. The FSC pledged active government support to help Korean financial and fintech companies navigate regulatory frameworks and enter the European Union market.
