FSCA Communication 7 of 2019 (PFA): Directive PF No. 8 of 2018: Prohibition on the Acceptance of Gratification

Principal officers of funds are prohibited from accepting any gratification that objectively creates a conflict of interest with their fiduciary duty, and simultaneous employment by a service provider is impermissible; funds and principal officers aware of a breach of Directive PF No. 8 must approach the Authority as soon as possible. An Enforceable Undertaking allows funds and relevant parties six months to regularise the appointment of a new principal officer.
