The National Banking and Securities Commission establishes that supervised financial institutions must close and suspend operations on specific national holidays and weekends in 2021, including January 1, February 1, March 15, April 1-2, May 1, September 16, November 2 and 15, and December 12 and 25. Financial entities may open on these days or close on additional days by submitting a prior notice with a calendar and justification, provided they do not disrupt the national payment system. Warehouse receipts and exchange houses are permitted to operate year-round, while emergency closures require immediate notification to the Commission.
