Guidance on the Submission of Applications for Authorisation (Old Format), Conversion and/or Extension of Authorisation
Authorised persons must submit applications for authorisation (old format), conversion, and/or extension directly through the Licence Holder Portal, including all relevant supporting documentation. The MFSA will adopt a strict position regarding applications not submitted via this portal, while passporting notifications and requests for changes in details continue to be received by email or mail. Applicants remain responsible for ensuring submissions are timely, complete, and include required operational details such as business models and organisational structures. An improved MFSA Authorisation Webpage has been launched to provide information on authorisation processes and applicable forms.
