Guidance on the Submission of Involvement Suitability Assessment

Authorised persons must submit Involvement Suitability Assessments (ISA) via email to the relevant supervisory function rather than uploading them in FinHub. The ISA must include detailed recruitment processes, validation of candidate certifications, professional connections, and specific assessments for part-time roles, including conflict of interest controls. Board members changing roles within the same board are exempt from submitting a revised ISA, provided they update their Personal Questionnaire and the authorised person notifies the MFSA. The MFSA will communicate directly with the Board Chair if a competency assessment is required for such internal changes.
