Guidelines on Criteria for the Assessment of O-SIIs

Relevant authorities must assess relevant entities annually using a two-step scoring methodology with four equally weighted criteria, designating entities scoring 350 basis points or higher as O-SIIs while excluding those scoring 4.5 basis points or lower. Authorities must publish scores by 1 December each year, notify the EBA by 17.02.2015, and disclose reasons for using optional indicators or adjusting thresholds. Guidelines apply from 1 January 2015, requiring authorities to incorporate them into supervisory practices within six months of publication.
