INFORMATION CIRCULAR 1 OF 2008

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION OF 2006 RETURNS BY 31 MARCH 2008

In order to prevent penalties from being levied against funds for late submission of 2006 returns, this Office will accept the final auditors’ release letter to accompany the unsigned, audited returns until 30 April 2008.

Funds are required to submit the duly signed returns in order to fully comply with section 15 of the Act (as amended) by no later than 30 June 2008, failing which penalty invoices will be issued for non-compliance beyond this date.

This is done in order to assist the auditing profession to finalise their heavy caseload.
