PI-PF-CIR-03-2015 – Request for Extensions
The Registrar of Pension Funds requires Principal Officers of registered pension funds to submit extension requests within a reasonable time before the expiration of prescribed periods under the Pension Funds Act. Requests submitted after a period has expired are granted only if special circumstances are demonstrated, and administrative penalties under Regulation 26 apply for late submissions until an extension is granted. Applicants must use Annexure A to detail the delay, motivation, and relevant special circumstances.
