This Circular, applicable to all registered retirement funds, revokes five specific Circulars and Directives effective September 25, 2026. This action is necessitated by the commencement of the Financial Institutions and Markets Act, 2021 (FIMA) on May 1, 2026, which repealed the Pension Funds Act, 1956. The revoked documents include guidance on deductions from pension benefits, requests for extensions of specified periods, block period submission of rule amendments, late payment and non-payment of contributions, and submission of resolutions for rule amendments.
