Introduction of electronic option for EXP Form submission for export of goods from Bangladesh
Authorized Dealers must accept electronically submitted EXP Forms from exporters via the Bangladesh Bank online reporting portal, eliminating the need for prior customs certification on the electronic form. Exporters are required to submit a signed hardcopy of the electronic form along with a customs-certified Bill of Export to their Authorized Dealer within 14 days of shipment. This electronic submission option becomes effective on July 01, 2019, and applies only to exports through customs houses with electronic Bill of Export issuance systems.
