The Securities Commission of The Bahamas directs licensees and registrants to report positive matches for the individual Bashar Sabawi Ibrahim Hasan Al-Tikriti, added to the UN Security Council sanctions list on 5 August 2025, to the Financial Intelligence Unit and the Office of the Attorney General within 24 hours. Submissions must include confirmation sent to the Commission, with failure to report constituting an offence punishable by a fine not exceeding $250,000.00 and potential disciplinary action including a minimum fine of $200.00 per day.
