The Securities Commission of The Bahamas requires licensees and registrants to immediately freeze funds or assets of, and refrain from providing services to, persons or entities identified in UN Security Council press release SC16443, specifically Abdul Salam Hanafi. Affected entities must report any match, suspected match, or attempted transaction using the Targeted Financial Sanctions Reporting Form without delay. Failure to submit required reports constitutes an offence punishable by a fine not exceeding $250,000.00, and non-compliance may result in disciplinary action including a minimum fine of $200.00 per day.
