Jimmy Delinis pleads guilty in $1.3 million investment scheme
The Ontario Securities Commission announces that Jimmy Delinis has pleaded guilty to fraud under Ontario securities law for operating the 'Azura Futures and Currencies' investment fund. Between October 2021 and July 2024, Delinis raised approximately $1.3 million from 15 investors in Canada and the United States while misrepresenting fund performance and losing 81% of deposited funds through option trading. Delinis is scheduled to be sentenced on October 15, 2026, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood.
