Rule · CVM · 30 Nov 2022
Investment fund administrators must obtain CNPJ registrations exclusively via the CVM’s SGF platform following Integra-CNPJ implementation. They must finalize new fund registrations in the SGF System by 11/12/2022. Administrators must cease using pre-existing CNPJs for new fund registrations if CVM registration cannot be completed by that deadline. Where such use is indispensable, administrators must contact the relevant Superintendency via designated emails for exceptional manual registration support, providing justified reasoning.

To
Investment fund administrators
Subject: Launch of the Integra-CNPJ system
Dear Sirs,
This Joint Circular aims to announce the launch of the new integrated fund registry management system in the National Registry of Legal Entities ("Integra-CNPJ"), which will go into production starting on 12/12/2022.
Integra-CNPJ will allow investment fund administrators to obtain the registration number in the National Registry of Legal Entities ("CNPJ") directly through the fund's registration with the CVM.
In this case, through an API application developed by the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service ("RFB") for this purpose ("RedeSIM"), after the fund's registry information is sent by its administrator and processed and approved by the CVM, the application will be consulted directly to generate, in real time, the registration number, which will then be informed to the fund administrator at the end of this registration process.
Due to this new dynamic, it is worth noting that investment fund administrators will no longer, from the date of Integra-CNPJ implementation, obtain CNPJ registration previously with the RFB, but only directly through the fund's registration with the CVM via the SGF platform.
Similarly, we request that fund administrators, from the date of publication of this circular, only obtain new CNPJ registrations for investment funds in the exclusive cases where the fund's registration can be finalized in the CVM's SGF System by 11/12/2022.
Regarding funds that may already have a CNPJ granted prior to the implementation of Integra-CNPJ, but still do not have registration with the CVM nor can obtain it by 11/12/2022, we request that administrators no longer use such CNPJs for the registration of new funds. In cases where the use of these CNPJs proves indispensable, the Superintendency of Institutional Investor Supervision, for FIs, FIPs, or FIIMs; or the Superintendency of Securitization Supervision, for FIIs or FIDCs; must be contacted previously, respectively via the emails sin@cvm.gov.br and sse@cvm.gov.br, for the necessary support in the manual registration process of the fund, which will be treated exceptionally and only with justified reasoning.

In any case, in the event of other types of conflicts or system problems in operation with the new system, the CVM can be contacted through our external support, whose contact is suporteexterno@cvm.gov.br.
Initially, the system only provides for integration in the fund's CNPJ registration. In future moments that will also be the subject of specific communications from this technical area, changes to the fund's registry and its own cancellation of registration in the CNPJ will be added to the scope of the integration.
With this, the CVM and the RFB hope to jointly promote the consolidation of fund registry management in this Autarchy, making the interaction of this regulated issuer with the Federal Public Administration more intuitive, simple, and dynamic, on one hand; and ensuring greater consistency of its registry information within the scope of all public bodies with which it interacts, on the other.
