MAS Notice 1002 requires Merchant Banks in Singapore and their auditors to submit specific auditors' reports and additional financial information to the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Merchant Banks must furnish long form and supplementary auditor reports, consolidated audited financial statements, and the ultimate holding company's annual audited consolidated financial statements. Auditors of Singapore-incorporated Merchant Banks must perform limited assurance engagements on risk-based capital adequacy reporting schedules and issue related reports. These submissions must be made within three months after the close of each financial year or reporting date, with the Notice taking effect on 1 July 2021.
