Modification of the statistical data collection for money market funds and non-MMF investment funds

The Banque centrale du Luxembourg and the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier modify the statistical data collection system for money market funds and non-MMF investment funds to comply with ECB Regulations (EU) 2024/1988 and (EU) 2021/379. The changes introduce new and revised reporting templates, including monthly and quarterly balance sheet reports, security-by-security reporting, and annual marketing country data, while discontinuing CSSF reports O4.1, O4.2, and K3.1 effective 1 December 2025. The derogation threshold for alternative investment funds non-authorised by the CSSF is fixed at EUR 300 million, and initial reports for the reference period of December 2025 are due by 15 or 30 January 2026 depending on the fund type.
