The National Commission of Insurance and Sureties modifies Articles 25.1.8 and 25.1.22 of the Single Insurance and Surety Circular to require controlling societies to publish audited annual consolidated financial statements within sixty natural days of year-end and to mandate that external auditors comply with the general provisions applicable to controlling societies of financial groups. These changes align the insurance sector's requirements with joint regulations issued by the National Banking and Securities Commission, the National Commission of Insurance and Sureties, and the National Retirement Savings System Commission. The modification entered into force the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation on June 29, 2018.
