The Connecticut Department of Banking approved the relocation of a People's Bank branch in West Hartford and granted check cashing service licenses to Connecticut Finance Corp. and P & D Financial, Inc. U.S. Bank Trust National Association filed to establish a de novo limited trust branch in Hartford, while Southern New England Financial Credit Union, Inc. received approval to change its name to Connex Credit Union, Inc. Additionally, optionsXpress, Inc. was fined $5,000 and required to pay $2,500 for examination costs for employing an unregistered agent, and William P. Fauzio was assessed $1,000 and prohibited from borrowing from clients without notice to his employer.
