The Connecticut Department of Banking approved Liberty Bank's application to open a limited branch in Madison and noted Union Savings Bank's filed application for a branch in Bridgewater. Columbus Bank & Trust Company received approval to issue Connecticut electronic payment instruments. James P. Dooley was barred from conducting securities business in Connecticut for two years, ordered to cease and desist from regulatory violations, and assessed a $1,000 penalty for selling unregistered securities.
