The Connecticut Department of Banking approved Union Savings Bank to open a branch in Bridgewater, authorized Charter One Bank to establish a de novo branch in Waterbury, and permitted B.M.G. Credit Union to merge with McKesson Federal Credit Union. The Commissioner imposed a $30,000 fine on Karl Ramonas and The Marketrack Investment Club for selling unregistered partnership interests and violating antifraud provisions, and required Hornor, Townsend & Kent, Inc. to pay a $7,500 fine for operating unregistered branch offices.
