The Connecticut Department of Banking opens a 30-day public comment period for branch applications by the Savings Bank of Danbury and The Simsbury Bank Simsbury. Corporate America Family Credit Union filed to expand its field of membership in Connecticut to include employees of specific local businesses. Jesse J. Bradin was barred from securities activities, ordered to cease and desist, and fined $500 for selling unregistered payphone investments and acting as an unregistered agent. Michelle Scott and Daniel Stein each entered settlement agreements requiring civil penalties of $5,000 and $10,000 respectively for misrepresenting experience and acting as an unlicensed mortgage broker.
