The Banking Commissioner approved the merger of New Britain Municipal Employees Credit Union, Inc. into Achieve Financial Credit Union, Inc., with the latter serving as the resulting entity. A special meeting is scheduled for October 11, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. for the Banking Commissioner, State Treasurer, and State Comptroller to vote on the application to organize The Bank of Fairfield. Written comments regarding these applications must be submitted within ten days of the bulletin's date.
