The Connecticut Department of Banking issued temporary cease and desist orders, summary suspensions, and notices of intent to revoke licenses for six mortgage entities, including Access Mortgage Corporation and America’s Lending Solutions, due to failures to maintain required surety bonds. The Commissioner also entered into a settlement agreement with Consumer Credit, LLC, ordering a $4,000 civil penalty for operating as an unlicensed sales finance company. Additionally, the department revoked the mortgage correspondent lender license of Blackstone Home Mortgage, Inc., and issued automatic suspension and cease and desist notices against National Financial Systems, Inc. for bond violations. Written comments regarding these enforcement actions must be submitted within ten days of the bulletin's date.
