Northstar Mortgage, LLC Final Order v 1
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Banking issues a Final Determination and Order against NorthStar Mortgage, LLC, its owners Paul Fenelle and Leonardo D'Elia, and employees Keith Douglas Buchanan, Kimberly Friedman, Duane Beers, Michael Gilbert, and Jenique Chang. The Adjudicator finds that the respondents violated the Mortgage Bankers and Brokers and Consumer Equity Protection Act by engaging in negligent, dishonest, fraudulent, and unethical practices, including forgery and document alteration. Consequently, the order imposes fines on all named respondents and prohibits them from engaging in the first mortgage loan business. Additionally, NorthStar's first mortgage broker license and corresponding branch office license are suspended, and the Department is directed to refuse renewal of the license.
