Whereas, under clause (p) of sub-rule (2) of Rule 3 of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (Public Issue) Rules, 2015, the Commission may, upon application, grant exemption from the provisions of this Rule to any person or company;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (p) of sub-rule (2) of Rule 3 of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (Public Issue) Rules, 2015, the Commission hereby grants exemption to Protective Islami Life Insurance Limited, established under the Insurance Act, 1969 (Act No. XXVIII of 1969), from the provisions of the said Rule, subject to the following conditions:
The company shall not issue shares or debentures to the public or to specific persons without prior written approval from the Commission, except as provided in clause (a) of Rule 3 of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (Public Issue) Rules, 2015; and
This exemption is granted based on the application submitted by the company on 27 Kartik 1429.
