The Securities and Exchange Commission imposes further conditions on the consent for capital issues or public offers of securities in Bangladesh, requiring issuers to refund application money to unsuccessful applicants. Refunds must be processed either through a banking channel into the applicant's designated account or via a refund warrant, based on the applicant's option in the application form. If a bank deposit is chosen, the applicant bears any applicable service charges, and the issuer must simultaneously issue an intimation letter detailing the remittance date, amount, and bank involved. This notification supersedes Notification No. SEC/CMRRCD/2008-183/Admin/03-35 dated October 01, 2009, and takes immediate effect.
