Operating Procedures for the Overseas Remittance Integrated Management System

Foreign Exchange Banks, Investment Sales Firms, and Small-Amount Overseas Remittance Providers must report overseas remittance transaction data to the Foreign Exchange Information Centralized Agency in real-time via the Overseas Remittance Integrated Management System. These Reporting Institutions must verify remitter limits, execute transactions within limits, and refuse those exceeding them, while Relay Institutions must forward data from Indirectly Connected Institutions without delay. Data must be retained for five years, with personal information deleted by the fifth day of the following year. These procedures replace prior rules and come into force on January 26, 2026.
