Securities and futures industries are permitted to share customer data among financial institutions for risk identification, risk control, reducing duplicate data entry, and cooperative business operations, provided they obtain prior customer consent and disclose privacy policies on their websites. The industry must establish internal control standards approved by the board of directors and adhere to the Commission's 'Guidelines for Inter-Financial Institution Data Sharing.' This order takes effect immediately and repeals the previous directive dated January 20, 2022.
